North Weald Flying Group - a flying club with a difference

Welcome to North Weald Flying Group. The North Weald Flying Group is currently a five Cessna aircraft membership flying group based at the historical North Weald Airfield (EGSX). North Weald airport has excellent flying and club house facilities and is also conveniently situated close to Junction 7 of the M11 Motorway, between Epping and Harlow in Essex.

The North Weald Flying Group offers excellent availability to its flying club members with a fleet of very well maintained Cessna 172's and a Cessna 150 aircraft. North Weald Flying Group is the perfect choice for both experienced pilots looking for totally hassle free, no equity aircraft hire, or for newly qualified pilots and hour builders wanting to gain experience and confidence at the best possible hire rates. With a monthly membership fee of just £60 per month, North Weald Flying Group members can book anyone of the five flying group aircraft through our web based booking system.

North Weald Flying Group is also run by an instructor and an instructor/examiner, so further training such as the IMC, regular licence revalidations and cross channel familiarisation's are all easily arranged. North Weald Flying Group also has a very active flying calendar for those members that wish to take part in our very successful group fly out days. These days offer a range of exciting and interesting days out from flying into active RAF stations to organised visits or even weekend trips to Germany, the Channel Islands and Ireland.
