Welcome to North Weald Flying Group

An active flying club based at North Weald Airfield near Epping in Essex. North Weald flying Group currently operates seven aeroplanes and is run by qualified flying instructors - handy for North Weald flying club members to take routine flight checks or additional flying lessons and ratings such as IMC.

To help with all areas of pre-flight planning, North Weald Flying Group members can now benefit from a group subscription to AVbrief. Accessed through the Members area.

To celebrate North Weald Flying Group's seventh year of operation, the introduction into service of our latest aircraft 'G-NWFA' and as a thank you to all existing members - both long term and recently joined - we will be hosting a 'Hog Roast' at 'The Squadron' buildings at North Weald on Saturday, 26th July from 17.00 onwards.

The event will be very much an 'open house' and we would be delighted to welcome any pilots who are thinking of joining a cost effective and active group to join us. Pilots whose licence revalidations have expired are also invited to come along to discuss how in most cases it is quite straightforward to get back into flying with a short refresher course and flight test.

There will be an opportunity to view the group aircraft as well as meeting our members in the historic setting of 'The Squadron' at North Weald Airfield, which we consider to be one of the best GA facilities in the south east.

There is no need to reserve a place, but we would appreciate an email to either Paul or Simon whose details are on our contacts page to have an idea of numbers.
